It all started one night. A man who called himself John Titor logged into Art Bell’s old forum (Post2Post) and started a thread called I am from 2036. In the posts Titor outlined various futures based on his timeline including a second American Civil War and World War III. The posts captivated the users and became the stuff of legend.
Here is one of the original Titor posts:

Greetings. I am a time traveler from the year 2036. I am on my way home after getting an IBM 5100 computer system from the year 1975.
My “time” machine is a stationary mass, temporal displacement unit manufactured by General Electric. The unit is powered by two, top-spin, dual-positive singularities that produce a standard, off-set Tipler sinusoid.
I will be happy to post pictures of the unit.
As time went on Keith Rowland eventually shutdown P2P so many of the people involved moved over to my forum to continue their discussion of all things Titor. Two of those people were named Phil Fiord and Pamela Moore. Pamela was a frequent poster to not only P2P but also the Anomalies Forum as was Phil. Phil also helped out with the site early on – helping to deal with media requests and user questions. Both were very nice and genuine about their Titor experience.
Moore at the time had claimed to have actually met Titor and to have discussed various topics with him over the phone for almost the entire duration of his visit to our timeline. As part of their discussions Pamela said Titor had sent to her a label from the back of the IBM 5100 as proof of his validity. That label has stayed with Pamela this entire time, or has it?
It turns out that Pamela had given a piece of the label to Phil, who she was close friends with and now Phil has revealed his piece of the label and has decided to sell it via a third party agent.
What I will say about all this, without revealing to much, is that Pamela knew John Titor, or the man who called himself John Titor, very well and they were very close so if Titor did exist and did gift a piece of that computer to anyone it would be Pamela. Pamela and Phil were also very close so I’m not surprised she gave a piece to Phil.
Was John Titor real? I really don’t know. I have always expressed some skepticism of the story but I do maintain it was possible and as a hoax a lot of effort was put into it. RAI’s television program “Voyager,” who investigated me amongst other people as the source of the story, determined the source of the story was Titor family lawyer Larry Haber and his brother. But this all could be real and regardless this is an interesting piece of Titor history, much like the book Titor’s mother wrote (which I have a copy of BTW and apparently is very expensive as well).
So we’ll be watching this auction closely to see what happens and see how ends up with the label. Hopefully they will check it out and maybe it will bring some closure to the story, at least the IBM computer part of it.
From the Ebay Listing:
If you are familiar with John Titor, you may be aware that he mailed Pamela Moore the label from the back of the IBM 5100 as a proof. They had become more personally close. After Titors’ departure, Phil Fiord flew to an agreed location and met with Pamela Moore. She gifted him with this cut from the actual label. As it was a gift and is a treasured item by him, he is loathe to sell it, but he has decided it is something that many have expressed interest in having for research purposes. He hopes this may go to someone who may be able to further explore and maybe advance the truth behind Titor.
Prior to enlisting my aid to sell this, Mr. Fiord had been in contact with Rick Donaldson from the same era of discussion as well as Olav, the admin and owner of Anomalies.net.
Message me if you need more information, but please respect that I am acting as a selling agent for Mr. Fiord only.
